Abus Frame Lock Adapter Chain 6KS

Plug in chains are the convenience hero of the security world! You get more out of the length (and therefore weight) of them because they can slip back through themselves. And you haven't multiplied the number of keys you have to use (and own) in order to lock up your bike!

The Abus 6KS series have 6mm thick shackles that we have verified require larger bolt cutters to cut compared to other brands plug in chains of the same thickness! You have two choices of length - 100cm and 130cm. They have no security rating difference, it is a trade off between the extra weight vs the extra convenience that the 130cm version provides.

The CHAIN Frame Lock Chain from ABUS makes it particularly easy to make your bicycle twice as secure: simply place the chain around a fixed object, pull the end with the lock through the ring on the chain and attach it to the lock housing. You will not need another key, nor will you need to lock the shackle separately. The CHAIN Frame Lock Chain is suitable for use with ABUS frame locks 4960, 5850, 5650 and 5950.
