How it works

We install the GPS tracker to your e-bike in our workshop for a $30 installation fee. Alternatively you can purchase just the tracker and have it installed by your favourite bike shop. You then activate it following the instructions on the packaging.  Use your bike like normal and login to our free mobile app to see its historical and real-time location. A mobile app is available for Android, Apple users can login in through a browser (same functionality). You will need to pay an ongoing cost for the phone style SIM card that it uses to transmit information. This charge is not to Electric Bike Team and at time of writing is $6 per month

Proof of Purchase and ID

To keep everyone safe, we’ll ask you for proof of purchase of your bike and photo ID. Please have this ready as we won’t install it for you otherwise.

Charging system– Shimano- the battery of the GPS Tracker is charged when the bike is switched on (when charge is too low, connection will be initiated again when bike is turned on and moved).
