Spoke - Sapim Strong 13/14g including brass nipple

Sapim Strong is a butted spoke that is 13g at the elbow (bent) end that fits into the hub and 14g for the majority of the spoke including the part at the nipple end that goes into the rim. It is popular for electric bikes, especially into hub motors, as it provides a better fit and a stronger/thicker elbow where the spoke nestles into the hub flanges. The rest of the spoke is a lighter, thinner 14g which not only saves weight, but is also more flexible which provides more strength. Because this spoke is 14g at the nipple end, it uses and will come with a 14g nipple.

This is a "J bend spoke". 

These are available in black or silver and are 'uncut', which means they are 300mm long and are not threaded. 

We have a spoke cutter and these can be custom cut to the length you require, to the nearest mm, for a fee. To do this, please purchase the number of spokes you require from this product page and then purchase the 'custom cut spokes' product and let us know the length, in mm, that you require. 

Please note that we are not able to give any advice on the length of spoke that you need for your particular wheel. Any such requests will be swifly rebuffed.

It is up to you to measure it or calculate it and let us know and we will send you the spoke. The simplest way (and it's not even very simple) to know your spoke length is to take an undamaged one out of the wheel and measure it, using the method showing in the product photos. If in doubt, consult your local bike shop. 

Spokes are not refundable in the event that the size you've asked for wasn't correct.

Like it says, this spoke is very strong. The Strong is developed for specific and heavy usage such as tandem, e-bikes or heavy load use. In case of large hub holes, the Strong is the recommended choice.
